The general secretary of the National Democratic Congress,Hon. Johnson Aseidu Nketia said even though the three arms of government are independent in their line of duties, they have limit in operating their duties.

He said this on Angel TV morning show when he was reacting to the Presidential pardon given to the montie 3.

He said every arm of government has a check on the other. He said the Judiciary has the right to tell Parliament in the face that, even though they are law makers, some of their laws they make in Parliament can be rejected by the judiciary, with the explanation that ,those laws are not good for the citizens and the country at Large.
Again, the Legislature which is the Parliament can tell the executive that, the budget made for the country for a year is too much ,therefore they will not approve it. With that they have given the executives a limit.

In the other vain, the President using article 72 has the right to pardon persons sentence to prison by the judiciary. Therefore he did not see any wrong in what the President did in pardoning the montie 3.

He again said that he is happy that the constitution is been tasted because he was part in writing it.

Moreover he advice that Ghanaian should be more debating as in which articles are not good and must be remove or which must be added other than saying is not good for the president to pardon the montie 3
