COALITION OF CONCERNED MENTEES (CCM).
PAY US OUR FEEDING GRANT ARREARS,WE ARE COMPLETING !
We members of the coalition of concerned mentees (CCM ), thus comprising all final year teacher trainees in colleges of education across the country, would like to remind all stakeholders as well as government that we have completed our out program with debts and still awaiting the release of our final trench of our feeding grants which is GH¢560 Which had been in arrears. As we prepare for our final papers on the 18& 20 of July we want to remind all and sundry that we are yet to pay our utility bills and debts we owe people we buy food from and since these people are aware we are completing in some few days time, they have threatened to March us to the examination halls on our various campuses to demand for their money. We therefore appeal to the necessary institutions thus the ministry of education and GETFUND to as a matter of urgency to release the needed funds to cater for our feeding grants. We are even yet to know our faith as to whether we would be posted when even as government is owing us even as trainees we only pray for divine intervention for our salaries to be processed.
Since all means of receiving the money through a dialogue had failed we have no other option than to let the world know of our plight through the media.
