The Ministry of Health has directed all recruiting agencies under it to commence recruitment processes that will lead to the employment of all nurses and midwives who completed their training in 2015. This directive was contained in a press release issued by the public relations department of the Ministry. The Coalition of of Unemployed Nurses have served notice to stage a demonstration and also picket at the Flagstaff House over delays by the Ministry of Health get them cleared and posted to the various health facilities. According to the Spokesperson for the Coalition, Adams Masawudu, a letter was written to the Ministry of Health on the 16th of January, but there has not been any fruitful outcome from deliberations with the ministry. However a release by the ministry has ordered for the commencement of recruitment processes leading to the employment of all nurses and midwives who completed their training in 2015.
