Part One
Over the years I’ve spoken about the tremendous power of Ghanaians to make a change and a difference – @JDMahama

Education can break the cycle of poverty. During my first term we have made efforts to raise the quality of education – @JDMahama
54, 800 children who would otherwise have not received education have been enrolled – @JDMahama
We have worked towards building the capacity of teachers and access to education for students – @JDMahama
Last year I insisted that all textbooks supplied to schools should be printed in Ghana, this is on course and 1,400 new direct jobs were created as a result – @JDMahama
The provision of teaching and learning materials programme has seen distribution to 10, 900 basic schools- @JDMahama
123 Community Day SHSs are being implemented and are at various stages of completion – @JDMahama
10,400 SHS students benefitted from scholarships with about 60 percent of them being females – @JDMahama
The current Community Day SHS programme will be the biggest intervention in Ghana’s education history and will create 200,000 new places in the SHS system @JDMahama
6 of the Polytechnics have met the criteria for conversion into Universities this year – @JDMahama
In fulfillment of our pledge of a University in every region we are working on plans in Donkorkrom and Somanya – @JDMahama
Work will begin on 3 new colleges in Greater Accra, Central and Northern Regions – @JDMahama
Our life expectancy was a little over 40 years at independence now it has increased by about 14 years – @JDMahama
We are poised to invest heavily in preventive healthcare – @JDMahama
2015 saw an active utilisation of the NHIS with 11.2 million users, 41% of the population – @JDMahama
I want our local pharmaceutical companies go increase their production – @JDMahama
There is a need to return Physical Education and sports into the curriculum – @JDMahama
Ghana has been commended several times for being on the forefront in the first against Ebola – @JDMahama
Our healthcare system has improved tremendously, we continue to invest heavily in the sector – @JDMahama
Healthy people make a healthy nation. We have invested over 2 billion dollars in the sector – @JDMahama
Construction of the University hospital at Legon, upgrading of the Ridge Hospital is progressing – @JDMahama
The Wa regional hospital is 70% complete – @JDMahama
Work on the 298 bed Bolgatanga hospital is progressing satisfactorily – @JDMahama
I have requested that the Minister of Health convert the Volta regional Hospital into a modern teaching hospital – @JDMahama
We are improving on the conditions of service of the healthcare professionals so that they decide to work here – @JDMahama
We are improving on infrastructure and modern technology to cater for the health demands of the population – @JDMahama
I strongly believe Ghana Health care system has been placed on the right trajectory -@JDMahama
We are looking to eliminate mother to child transfer of HIV – @JDMahama
Government takes social protection policies very serious – @JDMahama
Cabinet has improved 5 policies to improve child welfare – @JDMahama
Disability is not inability. It shouldn’t be allowed to be a bar to achievement – @JDMahama
I’ve requested that the disability common fund to be increased from 2 to 3 percent – @JDMahama
Last year July 23rd, I became the first president to visit our prisons – @JDMahama
I became the first sitting president to pay a visit to the prisons. It opened my eyes to the deplorable state – @JDMahama
Since 2013 government has been consistently expanded the LEAP project – @JDMahama
We’ve also registered thousands of “Kaya Yee” onto the NHIS to provide them with affordable health care- @JDMahama
The number of households benefitting from LEAP has gone up from 1,640 to 71,000 in Jan. 2013 to 144,980 in Nov. 2015 – @JDMahama
There are living testimonies as to how peoples lives have changed – @JDMahama
The success stories shouldn’t be exceptional, they should be the norm and we are working towards that – @JDMahama
The new YEA is employing a cashless system where all transactions will be electronic – @JDMahama #
