Is the act of keeping oneself clean and healthy
to prevent diseases.
Cleanliness is very essential in the preparation
of food to prevent any germs or bacteria on
the body from being transferred into the food.
Rules to observe :
1. Only healthy people should handle food.
2. One must bath frequently, at least 2 times
daily.
3. Food should be tasted with a clean
teaspoon.
4. Hair must be kept clean and covered when
cooking to prevent it falling in the food.
5. Clean clothing should be worn at all times.
6. Hands must be washed frequently and
always after using the toilet.
7. Cuts and burns should be covered with with
a waterproof dressing.
8. Finger nails should always be kept clean and
short to prevent germs from entering the food.
